Each group (family) will receive a standard double or twin room. The rooms are fairly spacious and provide enough space to add an extra bedding or two. The hotel has a limited number of extra beds and should they run out, you will need to organise the extra sleeping space yourself. You might consider bringing a sleeping mat or an inflatable mattress if travelling in a group of more than two people. The hotel will provide extra bedsheets and pillows as needed free of cost.

There will be a limited number of triple rooms; they will be allocated to families with two disabled members.

Those who wish to arrive a day earlier or leave a day later will need to book the room directly with the hotel. Please quote your participation in the Conference to receive a better deal.

All Conference participants will be offered meals as mentioned in the agenda as well as snacks and drinks during coffee breaks. Families staying overnight will also have buffet breakfast included on Saturday 6th July and Sunday 7th July.

People with special dietary needs (gluten-free, vegetarian, etc.) are kindly requested to mention this on the registration form. Those who use only industrial dioet will need to arrange them themselves.

The entire conference venue and hotel is fully wheelchair accessible. Access to floors is provided by two spacious lifts.

En-suite bathrooms do not have adaptations, however they are fairly spacious and should easily allow a wheelchair manoevring.

Bathrooms have bath tubs (no separate showers).

Electric hoists will be available on the corridors, please feel free to use them as needed and return them to the corridor as soon as no longer needed.

The two wheelchair-accessible hotel rooms will be made available for all Guests who might wish to use them for toileting or changing. Towels will be provided. Please make sure you do NOT lock the door when leaving!

Please be careful on the bridge over the water as the steep angle might make it dangerous for wheelchair users. Wheelchair users should use the path along the main entrance.

Getting to

The conference venue is situated on the outskirts of Warsaw, in a short distance from national highway no. 17 which connects the A2 motorway with the Warsaw Grand Circular Road – national highway no. 50. It will take approx. 30–60 minutes to drive  from Warsaw centre, depending on traffic.

It is possible to use rail connection – the suburban train no. S1 will take you from Warsaw Central Station (or Warsaw Śródmieście Station) to Józefów. Trains run every 15 mins and the journey will last approximately 40 minutes.

Unfortunately, the Józefów railway station, much like the majority of railway stations in Poland, is not adapted for wheelchair users. While you might be lucky to have a train equipped with a wheelchair lift, do not expect smooth surface when going from platform to the street.

Parking at the hotel will be free and does not require booking. Hotel car parks can easily accommodate 200 vehicles.
